About the Recipe
A very tasty Italian cheese bread. This started as Nona's recipe, than mom changed it and then I also modified.

Ingredients

2 doz Eggs
8 pkgs Yeast, quick rising
6 lbs Flour
2 Lemon rind, grated
4 tbsp Baking powder
2 cubes Butter, melted
2 cups Milk
1 Nutmeg, whole, grated
4 lbs Romano cheese, grated
1 lb Dry Monterey jack cheese, grated
1 lb Dry Monterey jack cheese, chunks (1/4x1/4)
8 tsp Pepper

6 Eggs
2 pkgs Yeast, quick rising
1 1/2 lbs Flour
1 Lemon rind, grated
1 tbsp Baking powder
1/2 cube Butter, melted
1/2 cup Milk
1/4 Nutmeg, whole, grated
1 lbs Romano cheese, grated
1/4 lb Dry Monterey jack cheese, grated
1/4 lb Dry Monterey jack cheese, chunks (1/4x1/4)
2 tsp Pepper
Preparation
Mix together, cheese, lemon rind, nutmeg & pepper.
Dissolve yeast in tepid milk. Beat eggs well and mix with melted butter, not too hot. Add to cheese mixture. Add milk and yeast, and baking powder.
Start adding flour until dough is sticky to the touch. Oil hands well and work some oil into the dough. Place in greesed baking dishes to about half, and place in warm place to rise.
Wait till they rise to at least double their orginal height. (4 1/2 to 5 hours at about 100 - 125 degrees)
Bake at 350deg for 45 minutes.
