Ingredients
1 cup Chopped Walnuts
1 lb Butter
5 cups Flour - approximately
1 cup Sugar
3 tbs Baking Powder
3 tbs Vanilla
Pinch of salt
Preparation
Soften and stir butter. Add sugar and stir. Add vanilla and mix.
Sift most of the flour with the baking powder and salt while kneeding. If necessary, add more flour until dough no longer sticks to hands.
Mix in nuts. Bake at 350 deg fo 1/2 hour and check, should be a very light brown.
Let cool to warm and roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon, about 50/50
